Thanks to Youtube I am now able to make Facing Goliath available to everyone, no strings attached. I only ask that you pass it along to as many people as you can, so we can encourage as many people as possible to reach their goals. Plus, a lot of hands made this project happen and I would love for them to know their hard work has been wide spread. Enough of my typing, here is a video comment for you and I’ll place a link below that:
I am about to begin an adventure and I want you to join me, but before we get started, I have to reveal something first. The truth is that in this past year I have been teaching more than I have been applying in the gym.
Like many people out there, I have been juggling family life, a couple of businesses and moving projects forward. Meanwhile, I have watched many of you make incredible progress with Naturally Massive, The Fat Burn Truth and Hibernation Training, as I have let my own training and diet routine slide. If you’re like me, this is something that happens quite easily when your plate gets loaded with things and the gym gets pushed off the schedule. I understand, because that is where I have been this last while, working on a pile of stuff and not thinking about what is happening to the old body.
You know what though… This really is okay. It happens to all of us. It’s happening to me right now. We all have to make priorities in life and sometimes our work, or our families, especially our kids, have to take priority over our desire to be in tiptop shape.
What’s not okay is letting it go on for too long and thinking you can’t get it back or thinking you’ll never get in shape in the first place. I am glad to say I do believe in my ability to pull it together and I won’t be waiting anymore to do it. You see, I make the most progress when I have a mission in my sights to train for, something that makes getting in shape more purposeful than just looking good on the beach. Don’t get me wrong, training for the beach is a good motive, but hitting new levels of development can get a boost from having big goals.
There is a reason I am telling you all this. Really, there is… I want you to know where I am starting from, so we can do a journey of transformation together.
Now let me tell you what is behind this transformation I want to walk through with you.
A few years ago I made a documentary film that went around the world, called Facing Goliath. That process drove me to get in my best shape ever and put the Naturally Massive system down on paper for the first time. Fast-forward seven years and now I am about to begin a new film production effort, developing an action / drama feature. Although I have done the acting thing and the documentary-producing thing, developing this from scratch won’t be easy. One of the challenges is going to be getting in shape again, to play an action character, along with moving the project forward.
I am going to share this journey with you, but I am also hoping that you will come with me on the journey. Take up the task of turning yourself into your own version of the action hero and even though it might not be captured on the film I hope to make, you can make this character part of your own story. We can be part of the same process in that sense. Record it how you wish and share it in the comments here.
The name of the character in the new film my team and I are developing is called Tuff, short for Tuffton Shepherd. In some sense I hope by getting people to follow this process with me, encouraging them to get started on any one of my programs or their own, that we can all train to be “Tuff” together.
In the mean time, for those who haven’t seen it yet, here is a trailer for the last film I produced, Facing Goliath.
